Do you know a Star? I am sure you do!!
A star is a consumer who has shown effort in bringing positive change to their life.
This Event gives us a chance to make our consumers the star of the day, or if you have consumers that you wish to inspire to bring change within their life, bring them to the affair to enjoy a nice lunch, music and an inspirational event.
Below you will find a registration form to be completed for each person attending. Consumers and staff attending the event and any consumer that is being nominated must have a completed registration form.
Seating is limited, so please act FAST!!!!
Each form has a deadline so hurry to ensure that your consumers receive seating and an opportunity to participate in the awards selection process.
We want to encourage you to promote your consumers in their efforts to gain control over their lives by celebrating the strides they have made thus far.
Staff can nominate consumers.
Consumers can nominate other consumers or themselves Please take a few moments to forward this information.
All winners and nominees will receive recognition at the event To be nominated for an award is an award within itself.

The 5th Annual "We Are Family" Community Supported Picnic of Wayne County is being held in Belle Isle - Shelter 8 this Friday from 11:00AM-3:00PM. Please join us for a great afternoon on Belle Isle. Summer 2008 Newsletter
In our latest issue yet, we've got some inspirational articles and poems in our Summer 2008 issue. This issue also tackles issues like stigma and safety.

First off, we've got a very inspirational Fall 2007 issue issue with plenty of inspiring stories, and poetry to boot. Not only that, we've also covered the 2nd Annual Conference for Mental Health Professionals by Consumers entitled: The Consumer Voice: What Children and Families want from Mental Health Professionals with plenty of information and photographs.
We're not done yet, as we're proud to present our latest newsletter: The Winter 2008 issue. In this issue, we're topping off our articles with health articles, Flu information, and Chess, so take a peek and enjoy.

Walk a Mile in My Shoes
This event is a large rally that is put together by the Michigan Association of Community Mental Health Boards. We will have an area on the Capitol Lawn for South East Michigan CMH's to meet.
